Mr. Johnathon Kessler

Johnathon Kessler has recently obtained a M.A. in English with an emphasis in Education from Grand Canyon University, and a B.A. in Humanities and Philosophy from Brigham Young University - Idaho. This past academic year, he instructed dual enrollment courses for college credit at ALA Gilbert North. Other positions have included a High School instructor in Texas, a TA and tutor for advanced grammar courses at Brigham Young University - Idaho. Significantly, Mr. Kessler was a 5th grade general education instructor in Mesa, Arizona, at Self-Development Academy in 2021-2022. He looks to bring his emphasis on positive relationships, high academic expectations and strong classroom culture here to PHA. Mr. Johnathon Kessler is currently pursuing an Ed.D in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Adult Learning at Grand Canyon University; his dissertation topic is on teacher efficacy. We welcome Mr. Kessler to our outstanding team of educators Fifth Grade General Studies Teacher and Reading Interventionist.
