Mr. Surjit Nanda

Mr. Surjit Nanda has over 19 years of global teaching experience. In 2017 he was awarded the Edyth May Sliffe Award for the most distinguished Math teacher by The American Math Association for both Middle and High School. In the same year he was also recognized as the Math Coach for Mathcounts by the State of Arizona and went on to represent the state, nationally.

Most recently, he taught at Basis for for nine years from 2013-2021

He is excited to join the Phoenix Hebrew Academy family and looks forward to working with the team
