Mrs. Alyssa Zupnick
Preschool Director
Alyssa Zupnick has been working at the Phoenix Hebrew Academy for 10 years. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Judaic Studies. Alyssa went on to teach in Tucson before ultimately landing in Phoenix and here at the Academy. She has always had a deep-rooted passion for education and is so grateful to have the opportunity to continue to grow professionally and work with students and their families on a daily basis. The best part of the job is spending countless hours with our youngest students who never cease to bring a smile to her face and make her chuckle. Their hugs and seemingly endless amounts of unconditional love always leaves a warm feeling in her heart. Being a part of the PHA “PHAmily” is an integral part of Alyssa’s life and her family’s life. She is so grateful for everything that the institution has offered and continues to offer her.
Alyssa currently lives in Phoenix with her husband and two kids who also attend PHA. They enjoy traveling together, grilling on the weekends, and making bi-weekly trips to Costco. When the weather allows, they love long Shabbos walks in the neighborhood and visiting with family and friends outdoors as much as possible!
