Mrs. Yona Weitzner

We are extremely excited to introduce Morah Yona this year as our Hebrew Specialist. Morah Yona has worked at Jewish day schools for over fifty years, teaching preschool through fourth grade. She has taught Tefillah( Prayer) Parsha(Weekly bible portion), and Jewish studies. Yona will be bringing her expertise of Hebrew and Israel into all of our classrooms this year allowing all of our children exposure and practice with the Hebrew language. She will also continue the well-loved weekly Shabbat Singalong in each classroom crowning a Shabbat Ima and Shabbat Aba each Friday. This is her fifth year teaching at PHA and we are so excited for her new role with us.
