Ms. Colleen Thompson

Morah Colleen has been working with children of all ages since she was 12 years old. She began as a gymnastics instructor and babysitter, progressed to child care at her local YMCA, and eventually started working as a preschool teacher in 2012. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (Summa Cum Laude) from ASU West in 2007. Most recently, she spent the last 6 years working as an Instructional Assistant with Head Start.

Morah Colleen loves helping children grow their knowledge and understanding in all areas of life. It brings her joy to see the spark of imagination and wonder in their eyes as they begin to learn about the world around them and their place in it. She also loves to explore those same qualities in her own life and does so through the theatrical and fine arts. Reading books of many sorts is another way she enjoys educating herself and her students on a variety of topics and experiences.
